Yesterday, I watch the video seminar made by SEOMOZ guru. I forget the name and it does not matter.

What he said during gruesome 2 hours is about 8 best link building strategy. We listen very keenly and it did disappointment me because the speaker provided us nothing new in the link building strategy. Imagine wasting my time for 2 hours for the link building strategy that I already knew just to make sure we follow the instruction of our head.

Anyway, the number link building that this speaker told us are
1. tradional link building - It mean signing up to directory, offer exchange link and beg for the link from bloggers. Well he mention that google blogspot and wordpress sub domain are both quality link so never bother anymore launching new blogs in the future.

2. He mention a lot but this one is not really new to me . It is just confirming my previous reading.
Link bait can be attain by a quality content. A content that is well written, something like well research content. I know a lot of these content in the stumble upon. Just the website about collection of comedy is a good link bait already because of the tendency of the reader to copy the comedy with the URL of the author. Poem, well research article that talks about current issues are best source of link bait.

3. Another link bait source are pdf, downloadable widgets, presentation and games.

4. The speaker did not mention about article submission so I managed to send inquiry through chat. The speaker able to read portion of my inquiry but he was not able to finish as so many inquiry keep the chat screen moving. Last Oct 30, 2009 the day is revealing day to all SEO specialist and all companies that expect customer from search engine. Google the mother of search engine who command more than 50% share of outline users. Google created a web page ranking system known for site authority. Google get the first page or rank 10 while yahoo got the page rank 9. There are many bookmarking sites that have PR 8 and PR7. The technology is simple, the higher the page rank the higher of chance in getting display in search engine which means more traffics.

Last friday of Oct 30, 2009 is a delayed quarterly page rank update for Google. I expect it at the end of September but it happen at the end of October. History tell us that Google Page Rank usually change by quarter so their will be 4 changes in a year.

Now my major website got something new. Our page rank 4 goes down to page rank 3. It happened to our 3 sites that enjoy PR 4 for almost 6 months. The good thing on our PR 3 sites is that keywords is getting better so we could expect visitors within the month of November from search engine. On the other hand, the other site that i usually work as SEO adviser got PR 3 from PR 4. The reason is that the number of back links that we usually enjoy got drop while the internal pages rise. Yes, most of the individual pages that we work got higher page rank as much as PR 2 while the rest got PR 1.

The blog that i maintained became victim of changes too. It enjoy quality back links but now i am feeling of the competition already. In my theory, even the PR changes traffic still the same yet we all know that everything have to be monitor. The biggest theory of them all is that " Will the traffic change as the PR 3 goes down?".

What is the benefit of Press Release for SEO. Basically there are many sites the offer free submission of company press releases. Text could have a minimum of 250 words to the maximum of 500 words. A lot of forum and blog talks about PR which according to them is no longer important in traffic generation. They PR is just a display or website decoration. The truth is for a new website that building a traffics, PR is very important. Look at the image below and you will see the difference of PR0 to PR 4.

You can find some sites that has PR 0 and 1 but they have good traffics. It is also true. The blog or sites are penalized according to PR. They still got quality number of traffics because they have hundreds or thousands back links from other sites as well as hunderds of pages in GIP.

If you reach desirable traffics, it is fine to lose your Page Rank. But never allowed your site to lost your PR at the same time you let your back link away too.

First, include your primary keyword phrases in your Meta tag titles, descriptions and keyword fields. You should also do this with your page headlines and subheads.

Second, add your keyword phrases to content. Roughly once or twice per paragraph is great. Keep it reasonable so the phrases are woven into your content and not redundantly repeated. Remember, if content is king, then keyword phrases are like the king’s valet - unnoticed, but always there.

Third, write in natural language. You need to incorporate your keywords, but not to the point that you ruin your page copy.
Remember, these are keywords because they are the terms that your customers are using. If it is difficult to work them into your content, something needs to be reworked. Or perhaps overhauled completely.

Fourth, try to incorporate keyword phrases in bold, italic or bulleted lists where it makes sense. This won’t have a major effect on rankings, but it will have an effect on your visitor count. Remember, everyone on the internet has the attention span of a gnat. Make your relevance obvious at first glance, and web visitors are more likely to stick around.

Fifth, take the time to read your copy out loud. If it sounds redundant and off balance to you, it will sound the same your site visitors. If you can, ask someone outside your company to read it as well, to get their unbiased opinion.

Keep in mind that these basic tips are just that, basic. By no means are they the end-all be-all for SEO. However, they are important fundamentals that should be implemented for better on-page search engine optimization.

In addition to implementing these five steps when you start out, go back periodically and check for them again. It’s so easy to get caught up in the social networking/link building/pagerank/twittering/digging/sphinning fun part of SEO that sometimes these priorities get shelved.

Generally, keyword density in the title, the headings, and the first paragraphs matters more. Needless to say that you should be especially careful not to stuff these areas. These are some technique that i collected in a know SEO site.

I make a domain pr5 for my client recently. and for this , i did over 150 articles. 20 press release and 7000 back links from pr1 to p4. and in that niche top old companies have pr4. and if i do this for some IT or webmaster niche, i can get pr6 . if that site update daily with new contents.

Despite being a link builder myself, I would seriously suggest you to wade your time and developed your blog in a proper way and acquire organic links before you embark on a link building campaign. Theoretically speaking, 20 PR5 links from pages without any outbound links or 5 good PR6 links should get you there but if Google finds out that you have just relied on that, then you risk getting sandboxed. considering that your domain is only 3 months old , any heavily submission strategy you involve will send you straight to sandbox and a 6 months penalization. In my opinion you should just build links in time and to achieve pr 5 you will need a couple of higher pr links and most important 6-8 months

Every SEO specialist understand that Google change the PR of all sites through the word every 3rd quarter. Last June Google changed the PR a week before the opening of the 2nd quarter of this year.

I still remember when my 3 sites got the PR 4 on that day simultaneously while i still retain one in PR 3. One of the blog rank PR 2 and giving good back links to other unlike the PR 1 site that i have.

First that i found new to this site is a new seo terminology called Microformats which is use by most search engine to organize the SERPs. This is good seo tools for localization of SERPs. This is a good tips if you are optimizing the sites. You can not optimize the whole sites or its individual pages. You only need are articles or blog post to target with link the page that your think necessary to be in SERP page rank. Normally this pages are services or products. It could be down loadable page or just informational page that you think really important.

I just could not understand Google why our keywords which enjoy rank 2 and now rank 17 in just a short while. Just 1 week and we slide to page 2 and 3. Look at the stats below, you will find out that i have reach a 270+ back links in Google search engine for the 2 consecutive week of 7-18 and 7-25. For unknown reason, Google penalize my site which greatly reduce the link to 170.

Since i am the blog site owner and i know that i am clean with my seo practice, i think google is manipulating the back links quantity making my site below my expectation performance in search engine.

Why google is doing this? We all know that there are companies tied up in Google directly and indirectly. Second the PPC will be useless if many sites is powerful to get the traffics directly.
